Jiangsu Himonia Participated in the Meeting of National Wood and Bamboo Industry Technology Innovation Strategy Alliance

On 18th April, 2024, the fourth meeting of the third council of National Wood and Bamboo Industry Technology Innovation Strategy Alliance was held in International Bamboo and Rattan Building in Beijing, with nearly 160 people attending the meeting, including council members, expert members, scientific and technological dispatchers, invited experts and representatives of relevant units. The council was chaired by Fu Feng, vice president of the alliance and director of the Wood Industry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry; Yin Gangqiang, director of the alliance and secretary of the Party Committee of the International Centre for Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR), delivered a welcome speech; and Chu Fuxiang, president of the alliance and president of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, attended the meeting and delivered an opening speech.The meeting and delivered an opening speech.

 On behalf of the Secretariat, Lv Bin, Secretary-General of the Alliance and Deputy Director of the Institute of Woodworking, reported in detail on the work summary of the Alliance for the year 2023 and the work plan for the year 2024.

 Chief Scientist Ye Kelin presided over the "Innovative Entrepreneurs Representative Forum" of the Alliance.

 Secretary General Lv Bin presided over the "key innovation results conference".

 Fu Feng, vice chairman of the Union, made a report on the scientific research programme of the Union since the "14th Five-Year Plan". Union members and representatives of relevant units for the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" alliance innovation needs and the next stage of the alliance's innovation work to carry out in-depth discussions and exchanges, the representatives and experts put forward valuable advice and suggestions for the state.

 The valuable opinions and suggestions provided important references and bases for the National Wood and Bamboo Alliance and the innovation and development of wood and bamboo industry in the "Tenth Five-Year Plan".

 On 19th April, 2024, the National Wood and Bamboo Industry Technology Innovation Strategy Alliance held the first expert committee of 2024 in Beijing International Bamboo and Rattan Building, and more than 150 members of the expert committee and representatives of member units of the Alliance attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Lv Jianxiong, Director of the Expert Committee of the Alliance.

 Lv Jianxiong presided over the meeting. Pang Yong, Deputy Director of Science and Technology Department of China Academy of Forestry, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

 The Expert Committee considered the application for the research programme of the National Wood and Bamboo Industry Technology Innovation Strategy Alliance for the year 2024. The secretariat of the Alliance reported the results of the formal review of the topics of the Alliance's scientific research programme in 2024, and the applicants of the topics respectively reported on the situation of their respective declared topics.

 The only coating member in the alliance

 As the only coating member in the alliance, Jiangsu Himonia has joined the alliance for more than 10 years. Over the past ten years, Jiangsu Himonia has actively participated in the activities of the Alliance and carried out in-depth exchanges and cooperation with all parties. In terms of technological innovation, achievement transformation, cooperation between industry, academia and researchJiangsu Himonia has achieved remarkable results in such aspects.

 The convening of this conference not only provides an important platform and support for the innovative development of the wood and bamboo industry, but also provides an opportunity for Jiangsu Himonia and other members of the alliance to show their strength and style.
